Default I won't be shooting my bow for little while

I was clearing a path to one of my stands from a field edge with my weedeater with a brush cutting blade on it. Going thru some thick stuff and a branch gets wrapped around the handle. I reach down and yank it off and the damn thing bit me. Not sure if I pulled the blade into my hand with the branch or bumped the other or what, it happened so fast i am not really sure.

Ended up in the ER and got 14 stitches. I think i'll be ready in time for the MO opener on the 15th. Stitches come out in 10 days.

Ah just a flesh wound.......

Couldn't be in a much worse spot for shooting a bow though geez. You should be good to go if the stitches come out before the opener, but yep your right no shooting for a while.

At least you didn't do any tendon damage, any deeper and you would have been having surgery to re-attach those.
They put those warning signs on those things for a reason bud, so you don't stick your hand in them.

Oh man, I hope you heal quickly. I'm sure you wont lose your archery mojo by not shooting for two weeks. Good luck

That's a bad one, in a bad spot! But it could have been much worse. Keep it clean, and mend quickly.
