Default Rubs..

With al this talk about rubs..I have some questions..

1. Does rubs mean the deer is close during the day hours?

2. If so..how close.within 100 yds?

3 oris he be just causually passing by and itching those fuzzy antlers on a skinny sapling?

Default RE: Rubs..

Thanks man...

I know last year..I hunted a heavily rubbed area and saw no bucks..Then I hunted an area with just a couple of rubs,,and I found some nice deer including an old monster in which I hope to see again this year..He's been here 3 years now...same exact spot..It's a thick area in marshy terrain..
