Hunting over acorns
Anyone know if deer like the acorns from bur oak trees as much as the do the white oaks?

They will go to the white oaks first. they are sweeter. the bur oak has a little bit of a bitter taste but they will eat them if its available. if there are no other food sources available especially later in the fall i hunt acorns hard.
