Calling Deer

have you guys ever called in a deer with a grunt/bleat while hunting not during the rut. whenever i sit in my tree stand when i am not seeing anything and thought if i called for a deer they would hear it and think there was another deer in the area and come a runnin but i have never tried it just because of the fact that i dont want to spook anything while on stand. i am just wondering if it is worth it at all if i should do it or not. apperciate answers to this guys hope everyone can help.

Yes, Huningman23, I've called in bucks from the begining of our season through and to the end of our season. Grunt calls don't work every time but when they do, deer can come in on a string. I just don't like to be aggressive early season. Use contact grunts. One of these days I'm going to do a little video tutorials on what I do or what has worked for me, NOT what to do. I'm not sure there is a good way of teaching a WHAT TO DO video vs WHAT HAS WORKED FOR ME. Know what I mean.

"The Can" has always worked well for me during the early season. Like Rob said I would probably avoid being too aggressive before the time gets right.
