Do yall have any tricks on how to get a strpped allen screw out?? [&o][:@]

If it is loose a magnet would suffice, but im betting it is locked down tight if you stripped it out. Need to get a screw extractor like mentioned or drill it out.

They are a real PITA.

go to your local automotive store and get an easy out. I've always had the best luck with the square tipped ones, and the rule "you get what you pay for" definantly applies greatly to this tool.

You could always drill it out if you are throwing it away. Keep your hands steady.

Not sure what size you are needing but I have fairly good luck on the smaller ones using a torx bit of similar size. The extra ridges and slight taper often are just enough to catch the edges that are not completely rounded. You could also try switching to a metric from standard or standard from metric, sometimes the slight difference in size will get a decent bite.
