Default RE: Ever see a buck you couldnt wait to have grow up ?

everyone of them I see thats 1.5 or 2.5 ... heck even the 3.5's all kidding aside, yes with a couple in the past that a guy could just tell they had great genes.. I watched one grow up for 4 years from00 when he was (1.5) to -03 and then I shot him. I also started watching a nice hvy 1.5 year old 4x4 in 04, that is now5.5 this year, he looks great this year, solid mid 140 class 4x4 ...Rybo's seen him near my home when he was out elk hunting a few years ago. I'd like to see Rybo kill him when he's here hunting herein a couple weeks, I am saving that bucks area/canyon for Ryan to hunt if he tags out on a bull early.. I have4 summers of footage of him. Each summer he becomes more particular about moving at all during daylight.. this summer very very little. I was only able to catch him only2x out during lighted hoursduring late july... last light basically.

For sure! This is a picture of a buck from last year, that I figure was a 2.5 year old. Check out the double drops.

In theory all of them, in reality none of them. I don't hunt thinking about the future, I hunt caring only what's in the present.
