Quiet, I think/assume my bow shoots around 250fps in the real world....
anything over 300fps is IBO right? which my understanding is a almost an unreal lightweight arrow for hunting.....
ABO.....which is usually 235 etc....
I wonder how many guys reallly know what their bow shoots.....
250fps in the real world and ultra quiet sounds about right to me.

What did you say??? I'm not really sure I understand any of that.... IBO is a speed rating that a bow "supposedly" shoots when drawing 30" at 70# using a 350grain arrow. Of my 3 bows I have IBO ratings of 305, 308, and 314fps, none of them shoot that fast because I only draw 29," and shoot arrows in the 415-440gr range.
ABO??? Or did you mean AMO???
Through a chrono my bow shoots 275-277fps. I think there are a LOT of guys here that DO KNOW how fast their bows shoot. The average joe bowhunter that shoots a week before season, well maybe not so much, but there are a lot of them here.
Mauser,
My Highlander at 29" and 71# maxed out was shooting 273-275 with a 415gr arrow and a tubed peep. Actually drew a little longer than 29" though, probably 29 1/4" which may make a small difference. With my new set-up on it, new strings, a loop rather than a nock and an eliminator button, I'm not sure what it will shot, I'm thinking I may pick up 1-3fps tops though. Not a speedster, but it's sufficient with a well placed arrow for anything in North America.
