Default Shooting question.

Hey, can anyone give me a few pointers on longer shots.

I am having issues with shooting past 35yrds.

0-30/35 I can group 4" nearly 90%

However, the minute I hit 40+ my group goes waaayyy down..

Anyone have any tips for making these longer shots.

I have been shooting @ targets about every other day for the last month strait trying to be rdy for deer season. Maybe just practice more???

Any advice is appreciated.

Oh... Could the distance shot have anything to do with my bow is 8 years old?? (or is that just wishful thinking)

Are your pins .01s or .02s?

"perfect practice makes perfect" practicing in good form, with a good grip and doing everything right and consistantly is what longer range shooting is all about...distance is a magnifying glass...form flaws, tuning flaws, etc all show up better at longer ranges. work on your from and do a couple tuning methods and get the bow good n tuned if its not.

"aim small, miss small" smaller spot you aim at the smaller you will miss...i regularly shoot at golf tees stuck into my target faces....

X2....Don't practice shooting at a "dinner plate" at that range, shoot something small.
