I'll argue the shot was legal, and lethal.....just not very "ethical" (IMO).
You hunt legally and ethically....and I'll congratulate you and take your kill photos. I'd argue "quartering-to" shots (if you saw this one you know) like the one he took offfer ONE outcome.

Jim....you can try and stir the pot all you want. I've held to my position that I'll defend any man's hunting....as long as he's doing so legally AND ethically.
I don't want to defend a poor shot but I am sure most of us have been there. I know I have been excited about what I thought was a good shot only to find out when I recovered the animal that it wasnt as good as I thought. I watch the same hunt and I would gave to say I had the same knee jerk reaction.

Did he Recover the Goat? Perhaps he knows his limitations and the actual scenerio unfolded slightly different than was filmed, angles can be deceiving.
Shouldn't we give the successful hunter, congratulations and not second guess his every instinct?
