Cool/weird experience

I went out to hang one of my treestands today and I thought I might as well shoot a couple of arrows while I was out there. AfterI shot my last group of arrows, i just sat in the stand andate a granola bar when a doe and fawnappeared.The doe immediately saw my target and very cautiously approached it. Then she must havescented me becauseshe blew furiously, whichsent the fawn into the woods.The weird thingis that the doe didn't take off. She kind of circled around and blew and stomped the ground for, like,35 minutes.It was like she didn't want to leave the area, but she knew something was up. She never got more than, say, 35 yards of my tree. Very strange. Has anyone seen anything like that before? It was a pretty cool morning.

She smelled you but was confused it sounds like and/or the target being out of place had her really stupmed or curious.. It is always cool to experience those type of encounters though!

Maybe she was waiting around to see if the deer with arrows sticking out of it needed CPR or not.
