Heard about that. What's the chances of your treestand actually falling apart like that? VERY unfortunate, and a sad story. Thoughts and prayers go out to that man. I can't imagine not being able to fully enjoy the outdoors. He said he "never really found out what happened" with the stand, he just knows it gave way. I'll be damned, I'd find out for sure and express my displeasure!
A guy in a club near our land fell last year and got his foot snagged in the platform. Broke his leg and he hung upside down for about 3 or 4 hours until he lost all circulation. Had the leg amputated, all because he wasn't wearing a harness.
