Default slick tricks vs. muzzy mx3 or 4's

Any opinions? I'm looking into both and have heard mixed things about both. Any info is appreciated

Thanks,
Adam Bowman

For me, the Slick Tricks. I have used them with very good success. They are extremely durable and fly just like my field points. I use the 125 gr. magnums, but have shot the standards as well, just wanted the extra 1/8" of cut. Bibbulls is a big supporter of Slick Tricks, so hopefully he chimes in on here as well. MeanV2 is always a good resource for info on them.

There was a similar thread recently and I wrote:

In the passed couple years I've been trying different BHs. Started with Muzzy, went to Montecs, back to Muzzy, thought about expandables, then finally settled on Slick Tricks. And by settled, I don't mean settling.

Slick Trick is a quality BH. One look at the machining and you can justtell. Testimonial on this BH is endless. Short of a one piece design such as the Montec, Slick Trick's flight quality is near unmatched by any other fixed BH. Additionally, 4 blades will create a bigger hole even if it's the same cutting diameter as a 3 blade, thus better blood trail, thus faster expiring deer.

One thing I didn't like about Muzzy was that the tip is made of aluminum. Aluminum cans are made of what else but aluminum right? What I didn't like about the Montec was the fact that if you have to resharpen the blades, you not only have to buy a sharpening stone, butI don't think you could ever get the blades as sharp as the factory can get a replaceable razor blade such as the Slick Trick.

ST's all the way. I found that Muzzy's quality has decrease slightly over the years, and occasionally you may get a pack that one of the heads just won't spin true regardless of what you do and you find it is because it's not perfectly straight. I HONESTLY believe I shoot my ST's better than my FP's a lot of the time.

I used and killed a Bull with the Muzzy MX 4's. I wasn't impressed how they flew. I switched to ST two years ago and I haven't looked back since! Just get the ST's you won't be dissapointed!

I have shot Muzzy for years and had great succes, but this year Im going with the Slick Tricks, they fly just like a fp and seem to be like darts. I do have a bit of play in the blades for some reason..

I would go w/ the STs... i have had better luck w/ better & bigger holes & bloodtrails with the ST over the Muzzy.

Just my experience.
