My arrows are passing through on mutliple spots on the target and its only a year old, even though I usually shoot 50-100 arrows a day.
I was planning to get the yellow jackets ones. Just because I need a new target and its the yellow jacket block for broad heads and then another yellow jacket bag for only 70 bucks which is awesome.
I'm fortunate enough to have 4 3-d targets in the back yar, turkey, coyote, deer, and bear, and I have a block target that I only use for broadhead practice. Since I don't shoot broadheads a lot, no need to, I practice on teh 3-d targets all the time with field points, and then shoot the block about 10 shots/per week with broadheads.
In short, I use the 3-d's for field points alot, and the block for broadheads, a little.

I have about a 3 year old block. Thinking about getting another one here soon. I also have a copule 3d targets, which I'm more worried about adding to.
Do you like the yellow jacket BH? Do you have any pass throughs?
No pass throughs yet. I don't shoot nearly the volume I do with my Morrell, but I've had it for 1.5yrs, and it's still holding up decent. My major complaint with it is that it chunks very easily when pulling the broadheads out. If you shoot a concentrated area for a while, you will begin pulling chunks 1-2" in diameter out of the target. THAT over time will eventually lead to pass throughs.
I've been using a Morrell yellow jacket bag target for two years now and it needs a new cover, but other than that, it has held up great.
I would really like to get a spyderweb target soon though. They are supposed to be incredible and I shot one for the first time at a new archery shop. Extremely easy arrow removal.
Here's some cheapo/redneck advise for a bag target.
Get one of those big woven plastic bags that feed or seed comes in. (I have them from Dog Chow, sunflower seeds and seed bags)
Start saving plastic bags and plastic wrapping. All those walmart type bags, bread wrappers, the shrink wrap around cases of bottled water, the stuff they use wrapping shipping pallets... etc.. It shouldn't take long to get a bunch of this. (it's kind of scary how much plastic people go through)
Anyhow, cram all that plastic into the bags. Cram it tight. Tape, staple or sew the bag shut.
Shoot the heck out if it.
When the outer covering starts wearing out, cram it all into another bag.

It's cheap and it works very well.
