Video of a nice 3 Legged Buck

Just digging thru some videos I had stored on Photobucket and came across this one. In 04 I watched a great 8 point cruising for doe one October morning. The following year, I started seeing a big buck with only 3 legs (turned out to be the same 8). Saw him off and on thru the Spring and Summer but not again until an early November morning. I saw a doe come running thru the backyard, tongue hanging out looking exhausted. Looked down toward the direction she came from and noticed this him coming past the neighbor's shed.

I later had him on the ground twice within 20 yards and both time he was facing me. Never did get a shot at him or see him again.

Typically my son (now 5) and/or Daughter (now 8) are glued to me as well so trying to hold him and video at times can be difficult.

There is a buck fight, a giant 10 point, several bucks chasing doe, all filmed out of the window of my house.

Sorry about that. fixed the link in the first post too.

Never heard of anyone getting him. it was cool to see him coming. His neck/shoulders were huge from all that effort.

There was a guy, here, who nicknamed a 3-legged buck he was seeing every year "tripod". He hunted that deer for 2 seasons and finally took him. His abnormal side added a LOT of inches (gross). I wish I had a photo of him, but I never got one. His entire left side went straight up.....maybe 5-6 points.

I love the oddball racks like these. The year after this buck, I was hunting behind the house in November and had this beautiful buck come up trailing 3 doe. the right side was a perfect 5 point and when he turned the left looked like a giant tuning fork. It was flat and went straight out and then forked at the end. Wish I had the camera that day as he worked that scrape some 60 yards from me.
