OK, Im off to the races at 3 AM sharp tonight. Our flight leaves Nashville at 6AM heading to Denver. From there it is a short 45 minute flight up to Rapid City, SD. We should get there around 11 AM, leaving ample time that afternoon to go check out the badlands. Wednesday it is Mt Rushmore and then off to the Black Hills. Dad just wants to go see the Black Hills, heck, Im sneaking in a turkey scouting trip for a possible trip this spring. Maybe Devils Tower and Deadwood that afternoon as well. Driving through Sturgis
on the way to camp. Arrive at camp Wednesday Night for my 5 day pronghorn bowhunt. Nice hot dry weather should make em good and thirsty for me.
Got my bags packed....you think women are bad....try limiting yourself to half of one suitcase for all your gear/camo for a 5 day out of state hunt. I have stuffed so many gadgets down into my SKB Bow case I think the hinges may come off.
Have a GL2 decked out with manfrotto head/tripod/controls to hopefully get some good footage while there.
Flung a few arrows this afternoon. My bow might not be the best tuned, heck I dont know what I am doing half the time while tinkering....but if two different BHs (rage/strikers)stack like this for me at 45 yards....I think the lopers better watch out.Heckim getting these results consistently over thepast few weeks. busted two of my buddies arrows nock hunting yesterday...he was pissed because he only had 4 to begin with[8D].Besides, its the Indian behind the bow anyway, right?
So who knows whats in store for the next week...

I cant wait to trya buffalo burger while out there. washing it down with a nice homebrew...lemonade.[8D]
