Default Hang on or Ladder?

Which do you guys prefer? Hang ons or ladder stands? Just went out today and I think I finally found the bedding area of a buck Ive been trying to bust. Im thinking hang-on for the simple fact that it's a little more "hidden" and not so out in the open.

I like how safe ladder stands feel, hang ons dont have enough room for my feet to be on all the way.

I have 3 hang-ons and I like them just in case I decide to move in the middle of the season. Can blend them in easier also. I have 1 double ladder and that thing weighs a ton so it stays where I put it the 1st time.

I like hang ons. If you don't feel safe they make oversized hang on's now!

Ladder stands are nice and big and really sturdy, but they really suck to put up. They are really conspicuous too. I prefer hang ons with climbing sticks.

I have a hang on with climbing stick and I really like it. I bought a big one though, the Gorilla King Kong, I wouldn't want to go smaller.

I use both. The problem with the hang on is finding a sraight tree where I hunt.

i have two hang ons and like them both. they're a lot easier to conceal and transport. if you don't feel as safe in one, well, thats what safety harnesses are made for lol

I use hang-ons and ladder stands.

For me, I feel safer going up a ladder stand at 5 in the morning. When it is pitch black out it can be reallytricky to navigate a hang-on stand. However, I will continue to use both as they both have advantages and disadvantages.

i only use ladder stands. Years ago I had two hangons move on me and I almost fell out. When I put them up I tightened them as tight as they would go so there wasnt much else I could do to make them safer.

I can put my ladder stands up pretty quickly now and I feel alot safer
