Default Which state would you move to?

Assuming family wasn't an issue and you werefinancially able to do so, would you move to another state just so you could better your hunting prospects? If so, which state?

I'm curious how many are happy where there are and how many would be willing to leave their home to have a better place to hunt.

Montana in a heartbeat. I wouldn't even have to think it through.

Any state that doesn't get snow. Im thinking New Mexico, Elk and Couse Deer (SP?). Lots of four wheeler trails there too, plus your never to far away from cheap labor.

Honestly, I would move somewhere that offers a better chance of obtaining a largeamount of acreage. Somewhere with lower land prices. The size of a deer in a given state doesn't mean squat if you can't hunt them.

I'd much rather have solid access to 'average' hunting land than have to drive by and gawk at prime land.

I"™d have to do much more research, but off the top of my head would be Idaho, Montana, or Missouri.
2nd tier Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Iowa

I would leave Illinois in a heartbeat for any state which offer just as good (or better) hunting AND that took care of their resident hunters instead of catering to NR hunter the way Illinois does. Plus no Blago, that is enough reason right there.
