Default shooting technique

Shooting is based alot on being comfortable, so with that said how do you guys shoot. Do you hold directly on the target or do you have some movement in your shot?

You should have some movement of your pin. It should essentially float near where you're aiming. If you try to hold that pin dead still over the spot, you're going to have a hard time staying accurate and consistant.

that is what I thought. I shoot fingers and it does not always make for the smoothist release. But I know a few who shoot releases and they hold on target.

I don't know anybody that hold a pin perfectly still on a target. Let that pin float a little as you are burning a hole in the target with your eyes. In other words, focus on your target, not your pin.

I used to try and hold the pin on the target but it didn't take me long to figure out that was near impossible and caused me to have target panic and it took a long time to get rid of and at times I still have it. Now I just let it float and I don't have near the problems but when the target panic cames back it's always the same thing can't get the pin higher than 2-3" below thebulls eyeno matter how hard I try to pull the bow up.
