Default Decisions, decisions

I'll be faced with some decisions this year I haven't had to deal wth in the past. First, which property to hunt? east Texas or west Texas? And then which bow? I have a choice of the Marquis which is likely to be first to insure there is meat in the freezer. Then I'm thinking the new longbow Russ made me. I've only had it for a few days and I'm shooting it better than the recurve I've had for two years. And last just so it doesn't start collecting dust I'll take the recurve out to get some exercise. These are some nice decisions to have to face!

That's what we get for having so many toys tx.[8D]

If I were you, I would just invite "me" to East Tx and I will handle the wheel bow duties.

Yeah, Greg... you've got a real tough situation on your hands. Looks like Russ did a great job for you. I was following his build-along in the trad forum. I've not been posting much lately... too busy.

It would seem that I have a lot of choices this year also. Last yearwas my first bow hunting season and I only had one spot to hunt and one bow to hunt with. Now I have four different locations - about 1500 total acres and I already can't make up my mind whether to start out with the compound or the longbow. I'm almost going into pre-season anticipation overload.

I'm with ya, Greg. Sounds trivial, to some, but I'm torn as to which one to take, also.

Good luck! Your longbow is beautiful!

OK! Guests are allowed. It is in Marion county so its it close. I'll get with you about it as the season nears. You will only be able to shoot a doe or hogs. Hows that?

I'll handle them!Anything that guests kill comes off of my bag limit. Marion is a one buck county, so if you kill a buck I won't get to. I'll probably be hunting west Tx first. If I get a buck out there you may be able to kill one. We'll see.
