Default Check those batteries.

Just a reminder to not overlook batteries in gear as the season nears. Yesterday I was moving some targets around to practice from my treestand. When I went to check yardages with my rangefinder I found out my battery was dead. I'm glad I found out now and not when in a stand needing to be sure of yardage on a shot. Don't overlook your rangefinder battery when you change out flashlights etc.

Good call. 3+ years later, I'm still on the original battery in my rangefinder. I have a spare in the console in my car, probably about time I put it in.

My lithium batteries (for my tracking lights) cost about $14/ea. I try to keep 6 or so spares in my tracking kit.....and I know I need to replenish before 9/13.

Great heads-up.
