Default String wear?

Hey everyone. I was waxing my bowstring the other day and happened to move my string leeches to wax underneath them and found that there was quite a bit more wear on my string underneath the leeches than on the rest of the bowstring. I never noticed this before and was just wondering if this would benormal wear or wear from the string silencers?

Should I be moving them slightly instead of keeping them in the same position all the time? I have never heard or seen this beforeso anyhelp would be appreciated.

Matt, more likely than not the string is just dryer around the leeches from all the vibration etc...

Wax it up and you'll be fine. How many seasons are your strings on?

Yeah it should no problem. Key is to wax and wax often. Melt it in using a vigerous rubbing motion up and down the string with preferable soft leather.
