Default Looking for a youth bow

Looking for a youth bow for My 9 yr old son/ 10 year old daughter,
He will not be hunting with it, just something to target shoot with dad in the evenings.
Tried one of the cheap ones (no rest, thick poly "rope" strings), it was more frustration than enjoyment.
Went to look at "better" youth bows, but they are a little out of Our price range.

Does anyone have a youth setup that their kids have out grown that they would be willing to sell ?

Thanks,
Nick -AKA "Slackdaddy"

I would look at the Browning Youth Bows, I think they are the best youth bows out there. You can get them all set up for like 300 bucks.

My 13 year old son shoots the Darton Ranger II. He's starting his 3rd year of archery. The modules allows you to step the draw length from 17" - 28" with a range of draw weights from 15 lbs to 45lbs. Well built and will grow with him until he's ready for a full size bow.

Good luck on your bow hunt.

Look at a parker youth bow . Once your sons grows you can send the bow back to parker and get new limbs for 50.00 . The draw goes from 18" to 28" and you can get them from 20lbs to 50lbs it's a parker sidekick xp package for 320.00

I would look at the Darton Ranger 2 or the Diamond The Edge. Both very nice little bows.
