Default Getting ready 4 elk season :)

So I am ultra excited. 3 weeks till elk season here in NM,and its on..I have'nt had a chance2 hunt alllast year; so Iam prettyexcited.I just got my new arrows 2day, and fletched them.. I think they look cool as heck.

Good luck with those elk in NM Sarah. Those are some good looking arrows, lets see one ofthem all bloodied up in a few weeks.

Sooo how many critters are you gonna hunt out there this year? Lots of big game to chase in NM.

Thank u.. I hope 2 have 1 all bloodied up 2 . I only drew 4 1 elk tag either sex bow. I do plan on trying 2 make it back 2 the midwest 2 hunt whitetail, and I will b bird hunting n IA and SD 4 sure shotgun. I am no longer working and am pretty much retired now so I have a ton more time.

I know the feeling..6 weeks from today I will be in Colorado. I have applied to New Mexico two years in a row with being lucky getting a refund

Montrose, Colorado...been hunting there for sometime. Kinda the annual trip, even if I drew a Arizona or New Mexico tag. What unit in New Mexico are u hunting in ?

Very nice .....I am hunting unit 16a...I guess it is supposed 2 b a good spot..I am going with a friend,,the area is new 2 us both...
