Here are some from the first week of trail camera pics..hoping for some more. NY Licenses go on sale next week and I want to get my stands up before my elk trip

Nice pics. You check your cam every week? I like to check mine every 2 weeks to keep intrusion/scentto a minimum. This is just my preference though. It gives me that much more to look forward to as well. I put mine up yesterday, I couldn't wait until Sept like I normally do.

I am going in next week to hang my stand and then will not be in there until the week after the first day. Have some other spots that I want to see what is using the good trails.

I had a problem with the camera last year and wanted to be sure it was working. With 75% battery left I can let it go for another 2 weeks. Good to know that the battery will last almost 3 weeks !! I do agree with you, being in there to much early wouldn't be good
