Default Here he is.....(man law?)

That good 8 point that skirted around me last year and never got closer than 40 yards forced me to take extreme action. My old Reflex (Rosie) and I have been the demise of many deer but it was time to catch up to the modern era of bowhunting. To the best of my recollection, I killed 22 deer with my Rosie, only one over 30 yards, and that was a bit of a fluke.

Gentlemen, I give you Pops......

Pops is a PSE X Force TS and he is wicked bad. I finally got him tuned up and tricked out the way I wanted him. 40 yards is the old 30 yards. For a deer to jump this string he would have to be on steroids. I named him Pops because this thing is far from a lady, this thing is all man. I first bought him with 70 lb limbs. He was a bit cranky. So I did a limb swap with my PSE rep and got the 60 lb limbs, turned all the way to the max, 64 lbs. He is spitting the Easton Lightspeed 30's thru a whisker biscuit (I can't believe I stuck this ugly rest on such a good looking bow but it's the best hunting rest out there) at 307 fps. The 70 lbs limbs turned down to 68 with a drop away rest was shooting 327 but not NEARLY as smooth.

Anyway, I could talk about him like a schoolgirl in love or just show some pics, which is what yall really want to see so here ya go...

Pops

A couple of groups at 25 yards, it's as far as I can shoot in my backyard.

Arrows

I don't know if this picture does justice but the 20 yard green pin and 30 yard yellow pin are touching. I'll post a question about that later

I think the pictures of the groups are two pictures of the same group, not 100% about that tho, most of my groups at 25 yds are just like that.

Nice looking setup! If your 20 and 30 yard pins are touching, can you just get rid of one of them?
