Distance to sight in a Bow

I'm new to Bow hunting and would like some info on distances to set my sight pins

when sighting in start short. like 5-10 yards to get in the ball park.

then once you are good at 10 step back to 20. sight in first pin at 20 yards. then 5 to 10 yard increments after that. sighting in past 40 in hunting situations is mostly pointless. most guys on here will say unless you are going out west you will not need to shoot past40.

i hope this helps

20 yards is good a good distance to sight your bow in. I use one pin and can hit bull or close to it from 0-45 yards

My hunting pins are 20, 30 and 40 yards. I keep a 50 and 60 yard pin for practice because 20 yards is a chip shot after practicing 50/60.

My pins are set in tens. 10 20 30 with the exception of a 15 yard pin
I think its easier for me to jugde yardage in ten yards shots plus I'm not confotable shooting any farther.
