Default good starter bow??

my uncle just gave me like a 10-15 year old Bear Cheyenne Hunter, im a new bowhunter....would this be a good starter bow?

yea, if it fits you , the price is right. you can always upgrade as you get into it

I would recommend you go to a pro shop with it, and make sure it fits your draw length and have them give it a once over. Make sure the string and cables are still in good shape or replace if needed Check to make sure the limbs are stright with not cracks. As long as it is in goog shape and as already mentioned it fits your draw length, It is a great place to get started.

Matthews is a good starter bow and once you get some experience you can get a real adult bow. Like a Bowtech

[align=left]I have 2 Mathews bows and i bought my dad a fred bear instinct, best bow i ever bought for the price. You cant beat it. Its very accurate, just a little noisy, mine chronos at 280fps, 70lbs, 5575 goldtip 28 1/4", 85gr tip[/align]
