Default Where would you hunt on this piece of land?

It's not too hilly, there's water bordering the north and agricultural fields bordering the south and southeast. Where would you set-up?

Well if it were me, I'd watch it from a distance and find out how the deer are using it and the surrounding fields. I prefer to hunt pinchpoints, funnels, etc. At first glance Ilike the area between the field and the lake. I like the way it tightens up. Without knowing where deer bed, how the topography is, etc. That is where I'd start. Hope it helps

Not sure if we're seeing the same thing but the area between the field and the lake is just a hedge row, and it's private land so it's off limits. There's also a small subdivision in there so I don't think the residents would like blood trails across their lawn. LOL jk

Maybe I am not seeing it but I will tell you that if it's more than 50 yards and deer funnel into it, I would hunt just before it. Depending on how the deer travel. I'll look at it again.

Wow, that's a prime piece of property. Just pick one of those many funnels.

Wow that's like 5 minutes to my house. You have alot of choices get out there ans scout it. You have an inside corner and a couple good funnels.

It's really hard to tell without walking it but one of the first areas I would check is the open 'field' in the middle of map, the upper left corner, back in the woods - like the looks of that area a lot....

I would expect that bucks may like using that narrow patch of woods...

SDH,

the upper left corner of that field in the middle of the woods was actually my first thought to have a look at. I think it might be one of the funnels that a buck would more likelychoose because it's deeper in the woods. Not only that it borders water to the north so I think deer naturally know that there aren't any predators coming from the water, making them feel safer?
