I shot three deer with them last year from 5 to 30 yards. All of the shots were lethal and the deer ran on average only about 30 yards after the shot. After 30 yards I found my shots got a little unpredictable, but within 30 yards they flew well.
the animals I saw shot MX-3's and 4's had the most damage done with the MX-3's. For me, the 3's were far easier to get to spin and shoot right as compared to the 4's (I gave up on the 4's...to many no-go's in each package).
I since have found a head I much prefer over those, but that isn't what you asked about.

Exactly my opinion!!! I shot three with the mx 3's and was naever satisfied enough with the mx 4s flight to take them to the woods. The mx 3's did great, but I have since found a better broadhead.
