Default What exactly does that meen?

What exactly does that meen when you say "Trust your float" ?? To be honest ive never heard that term. The last time I trusted my float I ended up in the river. . But for real, I want to know what that meens. Ive been bow hunting for 11 years and never heard that term. Help.

Your pin will never sit perfectly still inside the X ring. It will float around in there. Don't fight it, trust it. When the pin is floating in the ring, let 'er go. Don't try to hold perfectly still, it's impossible.

I believe they are refering to the fact that you can not
hold your sight pin dead solid on your intended target or bullseye.
You will naturally float around the spot a little and it just refers to gaining confidence to trust the floating motion and release, versus trying to yank off a quick shot when your sight pin passes over the spot. It would be more of a spots type shooting term rather than a hunting term ,I think.
All you guys, please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're having to think about it......you're probably doing it wrong.

I'm with you Ron. I thought I was doing something wrong but I always shoot better when I do that versus trying to hold rock steady and punch the shot.
