Default Mucho Gracias Landon (VAbowman)

Your buddie Eric pointed out two humongous white oaks up on the ridgeline that parallels the creek. On Sunday I was bored I camoed out in my turkey stuff and went to find a spot for a camera so I went completely around the property line, almost to the alpaca farm and came down several deer trails toward the ridge and creek. Almost all of them went in the vecinity of these oaks on the ridge, anddown to the creek. Im thinking they are using those trails alongside of the creekto walk until they get to one of a few crossings. Its either that or they come up through the small field for the clover patch.

Im almost positive these guys were twins! I saw them last year on the second day of muzzleoader season. I just hammered a button buck the day before and had a shot at one of them the very next day and decided I would let them live. Do both of their racks look lobsided, or am I viewing it differently? The one on the right looks like his main beams fork when I zoomed in on him (he may be a shooter 6 point on opening day. I dont think the one on the left is gonna be better than 1x2 at the best. Remember, this is just one night, 72 pictures of deer and racoons. I put out some corn to, but I will have new pics for ya when I move it over to the sanctuary bedding area. I saw a tracks in the mud as big as my hand.

Yep, that flash sure as hell spooked him, cant you tell?

I know where the big guys are. They are cruising higher up the ridge, but I have their bedding area under surveilance!

Do not follow where the path may lead...go instead where there is no path and blaze a trail!

He knows what he's doing. We havew been at it for many years, and he loves to hunt oaks. Those are young bucks, I know there better bucks there, give the trail cam a chance to get the other boys on film!

I was able to get in pretty deep for these pictures, and have moved it higher up on the ridge where I saw the elephant tracks.
