Default Be honest, would you shoot this buck?

I hear so many times on here, "I would let him walk..." that I am beginning to believe everyone hunts in places with 6-8 good bucks every season. I don't. I'll be honest with you, the buck I am posting below would get a look from me at the right time of the season. I have slowly progressed to the point where I more than likely (90%) would not shoot this buck. I have been hunting 15 years, and 13 of those, I would have taken this type of buck in a heartbeat in the places I hunt.....would you?

I would, Brett......because he's a heckuva nice 6 for these parts.

Just being honest.....and I'd put him on the wall. He'd be one of the top 3 deer I've ever seen, from stand (in NC).

Even in my "no big buck region" I wouldn't shoot him. I'm at the point in my hunting career will I'll eat my tag (like I did in Alberta last year) before I'll take something that I don't think meets my desired rack size requirements, and he wouldn't meet them.

99%, I will not shoot it, unless I need meat and haven't shot any does and it's the final day of the season!
