Default another use for trail cams

Last year I shot at this buck and thought I nailed him even though I knew I had hit a limb (the only one I didnt bother to trim! LOL!) I watched him for a few minutes and thought he was going to go down.

I backed out and called one of my friends to help me look. We went out there and looked for a couple hours and found nothing. No blood, nothing.

I got really depressed because I thought I wounded the buck but I had a feeder and trail cam sitting not to far away that I hadnt been using as of late.

I thought what the heck. I filled up the feeder and changed out the batteries and got a photo of him that nite. That made me feel great because I knew he wasnt really injured at all. He just got a scratch on his neck. You can see it in the photo if you look closely.

Rick
