Default Man Law - Check out the size of this broadhead....

The 170 grain Snuffers I ordered arrived today. WOW.

I wasn't prepared for just how big these things are. I have no idea how they'll fly, but they sure look sweet. [:-]

That's a 125 grain Slick Trick Magnum next to it, for comparison.....

For you, Schultzy,

Cutting diameter,

And my pretty white Blazers to show the bubbly bright lung blood.....

Very Nice!!! Gotta love those big heads. I should do a comparison with my 220grn Muzzy Phantoms and some of my other heads.

That thing reminds me of the giant arrows they were shooting out of the catapults at the beginning of the movie Gladiator.

I can't wait to see what they do to a deer.

Yup, they have been around for a long time and have a proven track record. Good luck with them!

I'm curious to your arrow, total weight now, FOC and fps/KE and to hear how they penetrate in your testings.

According to http://www.magnusbroadheads.com/snuffers.htmlthey say that the cutting diameter is "#10945 170 grains, 1 13/32" diameter". While the picture seems to dwarf your 125g slick trick, I was surprised to see 1 13/32 as the diameter. I guess I'm just used to hearing about the massive diameters of expandables, lol. Still, no doubt that they'll serve you well especially when talking about thicker skinned game. Let us know how it flies.

Damn Terry that Snuffer is a big boy, specially while comparing it to the Slick Trick! Man I hope they fly well for you. I've never seen what these 170 grain Snuffers will do for making a hole, My 125's make an excellent hole and blood trail and I'm thinking these will be much bigger. You might knock the deer on his ass when you hit them with all of that force and weight behind your heavy set up. I am excited no dought! I know one thing though that there isn't to many heads out there when it comes to being durable and tough that will compare to these Snuffers, specially the 170's you will be shooting.

Good luck!!
