Default bug spray

is it OK to where just any kind of bug repellent when scouting a month and a 1/2 or so from season. or should i get some kind of special stuff.

If it were me i wouldn't use it this close to season. Maybe try a Thermacell, there is a new thread about it right now.

you could, but I think you can get some odor free spary for a few bucks and know that it's ok.

Id go for the scent free as well

I don't think a thermacell is the right answer if you're walking around....I think you have to be still for that to work (and it does indeed work very well!).
