How far into the summer do antlers grow?

I am in southern WI and I got a pic of a buck on the 20th of july. (pics to come shortly) My question is do you think his anlers are just about done growing or do they have a few more weeks to fill out? Do they grow untill the velvet is shed?

Yes they dogrow until they starting shedding velvet thats when the blood supply is cutoff.

Last year my bucks were shedding the first week in Sept.

You'll notice on the tips of his antlers that they kinda look like a light bulb shape, balls on the tips. This means they are still growing. Once you see that shape gone they are ready to shed! The deer I have been seeing this week appear to have a lot more growing season still!
