Default realistic scent control

hey all, As a bow hunter starting out, I worked construction and got on some fine properties with the customers permission,, and saw at that time some nice bucks, even harvested a few, (120in) was my best then,, well years have pasted and it seems to be lucky enough to run into a bruiser other then been in the right place at the right time, the hunting fanatics are preaching scent control during pre season scouting, (i know any precaution is a bonus) but to scout and place stands in full scent free attire seems unrealistic, in this heat!! you would be soaked in sweat in no time,, if im heading out to scout and hang stands based on current and past years findings,, and heading out months before the opener, I should be fine with my limited presence in the woods,, comments? suggestions?

I agree. There is only so much you can do at this point because you are going to be dripping in sweat. Keep your presence to a minimum and you should be fine.

Good luck

sounds good to me. I knew a guy one time that lost his wife over scent control. He wouldn't have sex with her, he said it would put her scent on him...???? OK....psycho.. true story.

You can hang stands and scout while it is raining.

Better than a guy I knew in a hunt club that would bring one of his wifes USED tampons and hang it from a tree. He was the most successful hunter in the club...wierded me out too much to even consider!
