Default How Hard Is It To....

How hard is it to shoot a swimming buck from a boat? If this crap keeps up, boat sales will go through the roof. Two weeks ago, 8" of rain overnight. This morning, 5"+ and its not supposed to quit raining until sometime this evening. Water is flowing over the top of the dam on one of my ponds and I cannot get to my trail cams now to check them. Of course, since that pond sits above my big pond, I guess I could white water raft from one pond to the other.

Well it's illegal, here, AF......but when they get out of water above their knees......let 'er rip!

I've actually seen two small (2 deer) "groups" of 2 yr olds the last 2 mornings. I "suppose" they're in bachelor groups.....but have no idea, "yet"

Good luck with your season. I can't imagine. We've been in a severe drought situation for a while, now (2 yrs).....but have gotten some "relief" of late. I wish us both the best........though our needs are completely different.

Lets see, all I need is a sump pump and 500 miles of hose and I could cure your drought and get myself above water again.

When I was in Northern MO a couple weeks ago, it was very apparent there has been some significant flooding up your way. VERY apparent. It's funny how that works, bone dry and then all the sudden there's more water than the land can handle. You may have to call in an airstrike to get yer deer this year.

It's 100% illegal to shoot a deer in water in MI

Also in my boat being I have a motor, it's like being in a car. I cannot have a weapon ready to shoot at all

I believe that.

I'm assuming this only applies if you are under power.

It's illegal up here as well, and would never think of doing it if it were. But, to answer your question AF, I imagine it would be pretty easy.....
