Default shoot through mesh

i have been seeing alot of shoot through mesh on blinds these days
does it work?
If so how well?
Also can you shoot a ml or shotgun through it. If not can i remove it during gun season

i think most blinds say not to shoot through it with a firearm, because of the chance of a fire starting.
i honestly dont think its needed on i blind. i took all of it off the blinds i have.

It's tough to use in low light and when the sun hits it right but in the daytime with the sun at your back it works well.. Doesn't seem to affect arrow flight. So it can be effective but not always.. Do not shoot a firearm through it though, bad idea.. Barrel out the window..
