saw i a big one today

well i took a drive out to the field on public land today just like i have every night this week

well tonight it paid off
before i had seen some nice size does one small buck
Well today i saw a monster looked like a big 6 or small 8 i went home and got the digital cam to take a pic but when i got back he was gone

He seemed to have great mass for July his back was slumping in the middle and he seems older his rack was huge for public land around here
he had a great doe that if i shoot first i would mount her for my first deer


is it still early willhe get bigger or not
also is it odd to see a big buck and big doe together

sorry i did not get a pic for you guys maybe tomorrow next time i go i will have the cam with me

It is still fairly early, and he should get a bit bigger. No I don't think it is odd to see a big doe and buck together.

thanks what i wanted to hear i met is it odd to see them togather before the rut
unless you met that
if he gets bigger i say a good size 8 point then wish he was closer or i gota pic

i plan to set there opening day bow season even if i have to sleep there over night to get the spot i will park down the road alittle to hide where i am at
