Default who has went from fixed to mechanical back to fixed

If there is one thing that I tinker around with it is broadheads

I have used thunderheads, muzzy, rocket sidewinders, hammerheads, rage, rcky mtn gators, magnus stingers/buzzcuts/ g-5 striker

I have taken deer with all listed, but keep coming back to fixed blade broadheads - I am going to use the magnus 4bld buzzcuts this year -

Yep, went through the cycle as well. Started with thunderheads, went to Spitfires, back to thunderheads, and now on slick tricks.

I have done that cycle two and a half times in my bowhunting career. Fixed (Bear Razorheads) to Mechanical (Puckets Bloodtrailers [:'(]) to Fixed (Muzzy 3 Blades 100grn) To Mechanical (Rocky Mtn Snypers 2 Blade and Snyper XP3's) to Fixed (Bear Razorheads 145grn) and Now this year to Muzzy Phantoms 220grn. And honestly I believe I am staying with the fixed blade heads. Gotta love how hard a High FOC and Heavy arrow hits.

I switched from Steelhead 100's to Strikers this year...mostly just for the hell of it.

I have killed 20+ whitetails and 3 bears with Steelheads and they have performed well for me.

I went from Muzzy's to Wasp Jak Hammers and then back to the Muzzy's. If I don't hit my head on something really hard I'll never shoot anything other than Muzzys again.

Thinking along the same lines - had great experiences with the magnus line and do not plan on changing anytime soon

Fixed.........to mechanicals......to fixed.....back to mechanicals.

First head was a Thunderhead. I switched ot a mechanical for the wrong reason (arrow flight issues). I switched BACK to mechanical when I wasn't getting the blood trails I wanted.

After seeing the trauma the mechanicals can produce.....I won't be switching back any time soon.
