Default Giles

Anybody ever hunt Giles plantation in Miss. Seen a show on it last night, just looks like the perfect getaway, cabins on the river, have to take a boat to get there, looked liked decent deer hunting -

I've heard incredible things about Giles Island. Alot of big name and shows hunt there. I thought it'd be a neat place to go. I know they have strict management and use tracking dogs for recoveries.

I wonder if they had any issue with all the flooding as they are an island.

He mentioned some high water and on the show some of their box blinds were in or under water - but also mentioned high spots on the island would be a neat trip to plan one year, think they have a later rut as well

I know a couple of guys that went there. It is fantastic hunting, but you better start saving awhile in advance. It doesn't come cheap. Well, it may be cheap for you, but I don't consider $3500 cheap. I think that was the price about 4 years ago.
