wind in hunting season

i am in southwest Indiana Sullivan actual
normally which direction do you guys find the wind traveling in Oct Nov and DEC

Oct - Nov. usaually South to South West.Unless we get a cold front coming through.In December we get that Canadian air and we get the West to Northwest wind.

i know this will sound stupid but when you say south south west do you mean the wide comes from the southwest going north east or going from the northwest heading south east
i never realy cared about the wind till i started hunting so not realy sure

It will be coming from the Southwest heading Northeast. I hope that cleared it up for you. Especially in October and it will usaually be windy this time of year.

ya i will feel real stupied if i had not asked and set up thinking it was coming from the other way and lose a deer
