Default Still hurting but shooting well

As many of you know,I hurt my shoulder in the winter. It still hurts when I pull my bow and I can only make about 15-20 strong shots now in a row.It has been about a month since I shot and I was only able to make about 10 strong shot then so it is getting better.

This is a 43 yard group after about 12 or so warm up shots at different distances which were also strong groups. It was with a target pin setup but the bow is my hunting bow as well.

Mobo,you will like.

Looks like you won't have a whole lot of "playing catch-up" ahead of you. I know EXACTLY what you're going through with that shoulder business. Glad to know that you're doing well!

I know what you mean.. It took me a while to be able to put together a long streak of strong shots after I hurt my shoulder last winter... It still hurts off and on at times too. My bow arm still isn't where I would like it, although it is getting there.

Looks like you need to pick a new area on the outdoor range to shoot at Good luck getting back in strong shooting condition.

This is what I preach about with having good form, correct draw length, and back tension release.(regardless of style)It makes shooting easier. When you are not doing things right,it is easier to repeat, especially when you are not able to shoot everyday.

Thanks

You know what it is like when shooting spots and the x starts getting shot out and a hole appears, seems the arrows just want to fall into that hole.Same thing here.[8D]

I like shooting at holes more than spots for some reason.[:-]

Todd, its safe to say I can't even shoot those groups when Im healthy. Hope the pain gets better. I know a little bit about shoulder and elbow pain, fortunately mine usually hit me hard in the spring and early summer. Still gona be at H&H this fall?

It's a bit strange,I was able to shoot pretty well in the early spring and even shot a few 3-d shoots and did real well at the first one scoring a 304 but things seemed to go downhill from there fast.

I will be at H&H for sure.

Blood, wish we could get a group rate.[&:]I just found out I have to put a new motor in my truck and after my daughter just having surgery, doubt I will be able to have anything done to it for a while. It is healing,it just takes a while for things to heal when you get closer to the 40 mark.
