When I started Bowhunting/shooting a Bow no one I knew shot a bow. I guess it was in my Blood.

A year later we moved north and my Math teacher was an avid Bowhunter. He got me started on the right path and really boosted my start in Bowhunting.

Someone can introduce you to the sport, but the Love and Drive to continue must come from within.

Bow season comes at the time of year when the leaves start changing colors and it's just beautiful. I also find the woods much quieter this time of the year, and the deer are basically moving around undisturbed. This is why I love bowhunting!

I was brought up in a bow hunting family. Mom, dad, they all do and still bow hunt. I was fortunate to be raised like this.

I grew up hunting but not bowhunting, a friend of mine's dad owned a outdoor store and spending so much time around there I just started shooting a bow competativelyin my early 20's which also turned into a love for bowhunting. I gave up the tournaments but I will never give up the hunting, for me bowhunting is what I do, it is what I love, it is why I work, it is my lifestyle.....there are only two things that come before it....God and Family!!

Welcome to the Bowhunting world fella

I wanted to bowhunt since reading an article in a magazine at my grans house 20 years ago , thanks to the guys on HNI ... last year i bought all the kit and am hunting for the first time this year . For once i feel like i'm doing something i was meant to do , sounds daft but true . My only downside is ,that i live in a country where bowhunting is illegal [&:]. But i will not let that hold me back . I hope to come to America at least once a year to hunt .

To be honest I got bored with rifle hunting. I had been trying bowhunting very little and opening day of rifle season came along. i get my rifle go to my stand and within 30 min of shooting time i had a nice 8 pt on the ground. I stopped and thought to myself...where is the challenge. no my buddy has to bribe me to even pick up my gun to go with him.
