Stand Placement / Satellite Pic
I've never hunted a WMA or public game land before, but have lived next to one for a couple years now and want to scout it. This field is near the bottom boundry on an old strip mine now Wildlife Management Area with several ponds and fileds making up 2200 acres. I was thinking about putting a treestand near the south point of this field, what do you guys think?.......Wish I owned a trail cam...... the satellite viewer is free from maps.live by the way

RE: Stand Placement / Satellite Pic
i like the bottom left corner around the edge of the field. esepically if there is a funnel there. but it also depends on if you using gun or bow. JMO

Exactly what I was thinking, and I will be bowhunting from a tree stand.
