Default All this talk about KS and Ill.....

After looking at the map that Va shadow showed us, Wis seems to be leading in the race in P & Y enteries....anyone care to explain why Wis doesn't get the same attention as KS and Ill?? By the way, Green Bay needs to make it right with ol Favre.....maybe that's why they don't the credit!!

i think wisconisn gets the credit from most hunters, but is just not featured in as many magazines or tv shows.

honestly it isn't the card you are dealt, it is how well you sell it. guides shot up in my state and a couple of others that made them gain popularaty. some states have better stuff but it hasn't been fully capitalized on yet.

For the most part I'd bet it's outfitters. The counties of Jo Davies and Carroll counties which I'm headed to are 2 of the best producers in IL yet they are never mentioned, one reason, very few outfitters. The land is locked by big money out of Chicago. (According to Justin)

So let me see if I understand you??? You're saying Justin is big money out of Chicago???[8D][8D] Wisconsin has probably a zillion times more hunters than Iowa and Kansas. I think if you had a statistic based on Macho bucks per license it would be a good stat to look at.

concerning the Favre thing ---- I'm really going to enjoy the upcoming events. It should get real interesting.[8D]

Public land ---- 100000 acres of bait piles, wolves, bear hunters, bird hunters, quad runners, and pine bough pickers.
