Default wanted; hog hunt in ohio

Hey all, just wanted to know if anyone knew anyone that was having trouble with wild hogs, I am interested in hunting them , maybe they are destroying your crops/land in ohio!, I heard that vinton county has the most right now, im willing to travel ,and would be hunting them with my bow only.. any info would be helpful,,

They have a map on the DNR website showing where some are. Best bet would be to call the DNR and see if anyone is asking for "removal of hogs". Now that I say that I may have to do that myself

That is pretty interesting, I did not know Ohio had a problem with wild hogs. I will have to check out the DNR site also. I am heading down to Texas to hunt hog, Ohio would be a whole lot less driving.

Indiana has more of an issue than Ohio does from what I have heard. Might want to check there too.

I looked at the map last night, and vinton county is the largest population,, with some sightings scattered about southern ohio, im gonna call odn and see if anyone is calling in with issues,, will keep you posted,
