It looks like a small buck, but I could tell better if you'd ask it to stick its head out for the next picture.

easy way to find out. I know your looking at that black thing sticking up from its head. Well go stand where the camera is. Look exactly that direction. That black thing is either 1. antler. or 2. theres a sappling behind the deer. Only you can tell us if its a buck or a doe. Go investigate the landscape from where the camera is.

If i had to guess, I'd say buck bc I dont see the sappling underneath his jaw or head. But thats not to be 100%
