Default IBEP course completed and passed

I took my 2day IBEP ( International Bowhunters Educational Course ) over the weekend , i found it very helpful and informative . Included blood trailing , gutting and skinning of game , tree stand safety, shot placement ..... etc . I got to shoot at 3D targets for the first time too and never missed a kill zone , i took down loads of notes and will study them and the overall experience up until September ... when i go to Colorado .
IMO ithink the course is a great idea for those who have never bowhunted before , as it teaches the basics and more advanced subjects that the new bowhunter will find essential and maybe those who think they know everything may learn from it too .

Fantastic! I took the course even though my state doesn't require it in case I hunt a state that does.

I'd recommend it to everyone.

I'm not sure of the association.....but I took a similar course in '07......and I agree it's helpful. It's also REQUIRED to hunt in many states (if you're planning on traveling.....I'd check into the state you're traveling to for this requirement).

Just a heads-up.
